Dr. Qiao Guibin
Dr. Qiao Guibin is a distinguished thoracic surgeon with dual doctoral credentials: a PhD in Oncology from Sun Yat-sen University (July 2004) and a Doctor of Science from Germany’s University of Schleswig-Holstein (May 2005). He currently serves as Director of Thoracic Surgery at Zhujiang Hospital, Southern Medical University, where he mentors future specialists as a Doctoral Supervisor. Previously, he was Chief Physician at Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital and led the National Key Specialty Department of Thoracic Surgery.

Renowned as a trailblazer in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Qiao performed China’s first single-port thoracoscopic procedure in 2011 and pioneered innovations like "tube-free, fasting-free" radical esophagectomy. His expertise spans:
